i didn't edit the previous post and i realize it had a lot of grammatical errors....i don't know how to edit posts....complicated interweb

My school

this is class RA in my English school. we have 7 students, it is easily the best class i have, it's a lot of fun. we just play games and i give them candy so they like me a lot.




this is a photo of a dish i made for dinner. the idea is you should burn your green beans, not torch them but have some blackness to the bean. what i didn't do, but should have, is cook the beans first and then put in garlic and peppers. i put in the garlic and peppers first which burnt everything, the beans were still good but black garlic tastes bad.

i've been keeping up with the election coverage and i'm aware that obama won, eh, i'm not the biggest fan....but that isn't what i am interested in. what is really driving me crazy is the lack of passion from so many of those bloggers that trashed obama for so long. the idea that he'll ruin america or wreck the country, where is the outrage now? i hate these "we should respect our new president" posts, it's weak. so, so weak. i've never been a big fan of political posts or trying to influence someone politically but i do read them, it's a guilty pleasure. yes...similar to watching I LOVE MONEY on VH1. i need some fire, some passion, some ignorant posts like "good thing God is in control because you're in a world of hurt, America!"
i need that, i need those reminders to stay away for a long time...i need to read posts like that when i get homesick...

I’ve never really enjoyed capital letters but I have learned to tolerate and even appreciate them.

I am even more on the fence about the bed bugs….I am unsure of my affliction but I do know that the nature appears to be…itchy.
From what I’ve read bed bugs tend to strike around 3am-5am but I am getting bit around 12; I suppose I am most uneasy about believing I have a host of blood sucking parasites waiting to feed on me.

Today was relatively uneventful, I had class this morning and just assigned a conversation topic. I told them to separate into groups and then each group had 40,000$ for only 8 days. Anything tangible that was bought during that time would be taken by me on the final day and they could not give money away. Some of the students had pretty creative answers…one kid said he’d hire 5 women to travel with him…why not?!

After class I caught the bus home and I watched this woman spit on the floor the entire way.

Now I am trying to battle these bites….I can’t figure out what is causing them and I don’t necessarily have the highest opinion of the health care here, so I would like to avoid visiting a doctor if at all possible.

I think I have bed bugs

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure I have bed bugs. I woke up with red itchy bumps about 3 days ago and then again today. i believe that's how bed bugs work...it's about 4am and i've been awake since 3 itchy as hell. i threw everything into boiling water but i don't know what to do with the mattress and i don't know what to do about finding the bugs.

today was a relatively bummer of a day. i cooked hot pot and then dropped it in my kitchen before i was able to chow down. hot pot is traditionally a Mongolian dish, the idea is you have a pot filled with water, spices, oil, garlic, peppers. then you set that pot to boil and while it's boiling you put the food you want to eat inside and let it cook. because it's Mongolian people typically put a lot of meat inside...typically a lot of lamb.

i just got everything mixed and was carrying it, so my floor was covered. eh. that's life, no bigs.

then i found out that the minimum order for the Sodium Polyacrylate is 1ton and the minimum order for the gummi worms is 6000lbs! i've been really obsessed with the idea of buying goods from the manufacturer, pretending to be a business but really just wanting the goods at a cheap price. anyways, it isn't working too well. i've realized that an individual doesn't have any need for 6000LBS of Gummi Worms or 1 ton of a super polymer....

so....it's late and i need to sleep. i have a 10am class. i'm worried about sleeping because every part of my body itches now.

i took this photo at some nature park in the city i'm living in...hmmm....
i don't know what else to say. i feel very uninteresting and my day is a giant routine. i wake up, roll out of bed...do some stretches and brush my teeth. then i walk to the bus, ride the bus to one street and i get off. i wait about 10 minutes and then take another bus to the college i teach at.

i finish class and go to the center of the city and buy some food on the street. i typically get three kebabs. a tofu and two green bean kebabs. then i go to teach at an English school...today i got bread instead of the kebabs...i was excited by my attempt to branch out

A Blog about Nothing...

Will we be as successful as those who have come before us... Those who have said so much without saying anything... Will we be as successful as the Jerry Sienfields, the Barack Obamas, the Bill Orielly's of the world? God I hope so... I would love to get paid millions to saying nothing at all...
